It's easy being green...
We recently bought small plastic bins and put them under everyone's desks in the office to encourage paper recycling. We shred all of the paper and take it to one of our clients, who uses it for packaging and shipping her products, saving her money and both of our companies waste!
We have been recycling cans and bottles in the office for many years, and with this addition we generate hardly any garbage at all. It's a good feeling!I'm proud of the fact that we started out nine years ago as a paperless insurance agency, a rarity an industry known for its metal file cabinets.
If you'd like to be more "green" this year, I have three good ideas.
Two of our FL auto insurance carriers, Progressive and Travelers, will reward you for doing the right thing for the environment....
Travelers
gives a 10% discount on personal auto policies for hybrid vehicles, and
Progressive will give you a discount if you agree to go paperless and
transact all of your business with them electronically! Contact us today for a quote with one of these companies!
And,
if you're ready to clear all of those toxic chemicals out of your
laundry room and cleaning supply closet, you can make a huge impact on
the environment and your family's safety and health.
Check out Mrs. Jones' Soapbox for a wonderful line of eco-friendly cleaning supplies. They smell great, they are completely harmless to humans and animals, and they work as well as, if not better, than anything you're using now. The products are the perfect gift for new homeowners or new parents or you!
I admit I'm biased, but even if I weren't Mrs. Jones' mom, I'd be proud to be her insurance agent and I would still be her biggest fan!
